Mike Gauvreau

Hours: Wednesdays 4-7pm

Mike grew up in the Ottawa area, and completed an honours BSc in Biology at the University of Ottawa in 2010. He then went on to graduate with a Masters of Physical Therapy at Western University in 2013. He has an extensive background in competitive hockey and soccer, and currently has a passion for strength training and human movement. His style of treatment incorporates best practices from physical therapy and a variety of other movement and strength disciplines. In addition to his manual therapy skills, his treatment emphasizes movement re-education, functional strengthening, and attaining better overall health and fitness.

Kayley Walsh

Hours: Tuesday & Thursday 8am-12pm

Kayley is a sport and movement enthusiast. She played university rugby and continues to play within the Quebec Rugby League. Kayley currently works as a physiotherapist and as a mental performance consultant. She is very passionate about empowering others to maximize their potentials, both physically and mentally.

Andrew Maxner

Hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-8pm, Saturdays 9am-12pm

Andrew has been doing CrossFit since 2014, when he walked into CrossFit NCR looking for a change from the traditional gym setting. In 2017, Andrew travelled to Glasgow, Scotland, where he earned his M.Sc Physiotherapy degree while competing in CrossFit all around the U.K. He incorporates an active, movement-based approach to physiotherapy with the goal of helping patients address the root cause of their pain and restore their ability to live pain-free.

Paul Fortin

Hours: Fridays 1-4pm

Having obtained a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree from Queen’s University, Paul decided to travel overseas to complete his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. While overseas, he gained additional experiences working with local soccer and rugby academies and discovered CrossFit. His passion for rehabilitation, fitness and human performance began through the multiple sports he played growing up in Ottawa. Paul’s main sport of hockey gave him the opportunity to compete at the Junior A level and he has also given back and coached at the minor hockey level. Sports have developed Paul’s special interest in treating athletes and anyone looking to get the most out of their bodies while living pain free. He strives to help people enhance their movement quality, functional strength and mobility in order for them to achieve their goals and needs.
