Dr. Marie Geschwandtner

Hiking fan, sommelier wannabe, travel addict, compulsive renovator

Dr. Marie Geschwandtner has 30 years of practice experience with a special interest in healthy and active aging, women's health and raising healthy families. She is passionate about inspiring, educating, and supporting her patients to reach their full health and life potential. She is a life long learner, mom, athlete, Board member (Compassion Canada and Compassion International), cofounder and principle of Chiropractors with Compassion, and head women's coach at Warrior Coaching. Dr Marie grew up in Saskatchewan and studied biochemistry at the University of Regina. She received her Doctorate in Chiropractic (cum laude) from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (Toronto). She has completed numerous courses covering topics including anti aging, prenatal and paediatric care, group fitness and CrossFit Kids coaching. She incorporates various techniques into her practice (Diversified, postural correction, Arthrostim) and is also certified in Neurolmpulse Adjusting Technique. When she's not working you can find her gravel biking, hiking (Adirondack 46er), paddle boarding, cooking and travelling. She has completed numerous half marathons, Ironman 70.3 relays (bike and run), and is an avid skier and CrossFitter. Dr Marie believes it's never too early or too late to start taking care of your most valuable asset, your health!

Dr. Yurij Chewpa

Endurance junkie, reluctant sous chef, bookworm, coffee snob.

Dr. Yurij Chewpa is a sports injury specialist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences. His passion is to help guide individuals and families towards optimal health, recover from injury and optimize performance. Athletes in particular hold a special place in his heart. Being a lifelong competitive athlete himself (Ironman triathlon, hockey, cycling) he understands the level of commitment necessary to compete at an elite level. Dr Yurij studied Kinesiology at University of Waterloo prior to completing his Doctorate in Chiropractic and post doctorate in Chiropractic Sport Science at CMCC in Toronto. He has completed several post grad courses in Chiropractic Biophysics, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and is a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach. He is the founder and head coach of Warrior Coaching, training Chiropractors and business leaders to live and work full out. When not working, Yurij takes every opportunity to get out on his road bike or gravel bike, is an avid CrossFitter, and is currently learning how to smoke award winning brisket on his BBQ.

Dr Olexa Chewpa

Trail runner, neurology geek, bonfire master, amateur mixologist.

Dr Olexa Chewpa holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours) from the University of Ottawa and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. He is passionate about optimizing nervous system function especially as found in trauma and movement disorders, sports injuries, concussion, traumatic brain injury, vertigo, focus issues, and vestibular imbalances. Because of his rich background in competitive sports including soccer and alpine ski racing, Olexa understands how critical taking good care of your body is and places a high value on doctor patient partnership in the management of treatment goals. He is a member of IANFR and is certified in the Mellilo Method, a methodology that focuses on the treatment of neurobehavioral disorders such as autism and ADHD. Dr Olexa spends his free time trail running, rock climbing, cycling and skiing. When he's not out on the trails, he can be found reading up on the latest literature in the fields of wellness, longevity and neurology, more often than not, with a fire nearby!
